These armour arms were developed after a South-German model from the 16th century. It was used in a particular Tournament called the Realgestech or Plankengestech. The original armour is on display in the Armoury of the Churburg castle. Unfortunately they consist of immovable parts to avoid a break of an arm in the tournament. To be able to use these armour arms in a tournament on foot, it was redesigned by Mr. Adrian Kunz (a Swiss reenactor). A great work, isn't it? More information...
