Katana Hana by John Lee
The theme of this katana are flowers in the colors gold and silver. These floral decorative elements can be found on the sheath as well as on the ornate tsuba. The resting decorative elements follow this unique style/topic. Shinogi Zukuri style blade with fuller (Bo-Hi), hand forged from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is sharpened and has an integrated Hamon line for a particularly authentic look. The handle wrap of black cotton is in the classic hineri-maki style. The black, glossy lacquered wooden sheath with inlaid golden flowers is in Kuroro style. The blade has a long tang (Nagako), which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pins (Mekugi). The sword can be completely dismantled. No plastic is used in the production, only high quality, authentic materials are used.
