Early bascinet with visor 1300-1390
Bascinets were a favorite soldiers´outfit in the 14th century and 15th century. It stands on the evolution line after the cabasset that was used by both the cavalry and infantry soldiers. Early bascinet with visor 1300-1390
This design is based on several artistic representations dated the first quarter of 14th century, originated in Spain. Its visor with pyramid-grill shape offers both excellent eye protection and an optimal outlook. The flap-up visor and has a pin system that allows a quick taking apart if needed.
- This Bascinet is made from rusting steel plate plate with gauge of 1.6mm.
