Shell-guarded dagger

The guard has integrated a shell, a typical religious motive on travelers and quite common in Europe. The pommel is made of wood and nailed with brass nails, which gives the dagger an ancient look. Both the pommel and the guard were replicted after the original piece, by means of the the lost-wax casting method. This dagger is a must for all reenactors and collectors.
