The Model 1850 Union Staff & Field Officer Sword features a fully tempered 1095 carbon steel blade with etched ''U.S.'', ''E Pluribus Unum'' and ''Iron Proof'' designs. The solid brass guard has hand chased foliage and ''U.S.'' between the branches, while the grip is wood wrapped in black leather and brass wire. Includes a blued steel scabbard with brass accents and hanging rings. During the years before the war, many Confederate officers, including General Robert E. Lee carried this sword in the Indian campaigns. More information...
