The materials used and the craftsmanship would allow the use this prop in re-enactment and theatrical combat shows. Since the manufacturer provides no service, this weapon is sold as a purely decorative item that is not designed for re-enactment or battle combats.

How to install the woode handle

If the throat/grip of your wooden handle can pass through the eye of the ax, pull the handle from the top so that the widened end gets stuck in the eye of the ax. The end of the handle must be shaped before installation so that it fits in the eye-hole (but must remain slightly larger). We also recommend sawing the end for the wedge. Lightly hammer the wooden handle into the eye and then secure it with a hardwood wedge. If you know another good practice, email us! Thank you.
