Design Travelhawk Axe
The Travelhawk Axe closes an equipment gap between hunters and bushcraft men. Innovative foundations of this novelty were provided by the Franconian Axe Franziska of the 6th to 8th century, the little Viking Beard Axe Skeggöx of the 8th to 9th century, the Inuit -Women?s knife Ulu of the 19th century, and the relativized requirements of a solid tool. The advantages of the Travelhawk are that it quickly breaks up into 2 parts. This makes it easy to stow and transport. The blade can be used without a handle as a qualified knife for skinning or for the processing of game. The wooden shaft is embedded in the axe blade from above. Due to the upward flare and conical blade eyelet, the axe head counteracts the centrifugal force, so that its grip becomes firmer with each stroke. More information...
