Seax knife with sheath

  • Total length approx. 430mm
  • Blade length approx. 295mm
  • The blade at the handle is about 49.4mm wide and about 4.3mm thick
  • The blade 5cm off the blade point is about 31.6mm wide and about 4.2mm thick
  • The length of the cutting edge, measured off the blade point is about 232mm long
  • The ricasso is about 52mm long
  • Riveted blade at the end of the handle (full tang)
  • Handle length approx. 137mm
  • The handle has an oval cross-section of about 29 * 48.5mm
  • The blade is sharpened - thickness of the cutting edge approx. 0.3mm
  • The scabbard is made of approx. 2mm thick cowhide
  • The belt loops are about 53 and 85mm long
  • Weight of the sax approx. 476 g
  • Weight of the sheath approx. 146 g
