Underskirt, natural colour, brown

Underskirts were an integral part of the medieval garb. They keeped warm and were therefore often worn in several layers. The underskirts also gave the upper skirt or dress volume and so enhanced its look. This underskirt is made of fine cotton fabric and has an attached ruffle on the lower skirt part. This is provided with tucks and gives the hem of the upper garment more volume. The cuff is made of a wide elastic band and ensures a good fit. More information...
