The use of plate armor it´s becoming common during the 15th Century, and this chest plate became a must for the re-enactment of the period. This German style chest plate could be in use in any part of Europe during the 1450 to the 1500´s. Combined with arm harness and legs, it makes a very nice composition for a heavy infantry man. This chest plate is to be attached to the trunk by the supplied leather belts. You can wear it separately without the back plate and we recommend wearing a quilted tunic or a gambeson underneath.
