Each katana is delivered with a seal as a proof of originality. You will get the sword in a textile sheath and a premium quality collector wooden cassette. This katana can be used for cutting or for compat exercise.

The sword was made after a museum original. It is a masterpiece of Asian blacksmithing.

• Blade hand forged from carbon steel 1045
• Artificial hamon line made by cross grinding
  
• Blade is sharp ground and provided for weight reduction with a Bo-Hi (channel).
• Handle (Tsuka) is of hard wood, wrapped into genuine ray skin (Same).
• The handle wrapping (Tsuka-Ito) is traditionally from black cotton.
• The handle has two inserted Menukis.
• The Sword tang (Nakago) quite very long and attached with 2 bamboo pins (mekugi) to the handle.
• The wooden scabbard (saya) has balck high-polished finish.
• The blade clamp (habaki) is made of brass.

The blade is forged from 1045 carbon steel and has a Rockwell hardness of about 55° throughout the whole blade. This Katana, as well as all of the "Forged Line" is not differential-hardened, therefore the hardness at the back of the blade equals to the hardness of the cutting edge.

The protective wooden case, in which is the product packaged, comes free of charge.
