The fingers of these gauntlets are protected by an inner leather glove and an outer, thicker leather glove studded with rivets. The fingertips are protected by metal "nails". The cuff and the main plate of the gauntlet are riveted to the thicker inner leather. The Churburg gauntlets offer lightness and high mobility while providing adequate protection for the hands.
