The sole and the heel in the photos are made of abrasion-resistant rubber, but can also be made of genuine leather. The shoes are more rigid than modern shoes, still, you can wear them comfortable (no clog feeling!). The upper leather is completely dyed from the tannery.
The upper part of the shoe is sewn by machine, then it is soaked and stretched over the making last, the corresponding size is formed and tied to the insole sole. After the shoes are dried, the outsole is glued and the heel is modelled. This procedure has been practised since 1997.
These shoes are available in standard EUR sizes. If you select the size "made-to-measure", they will be manufactured according to this measurement chart. Please fill it in after you finish your order.
Care of the Baroque style men´s low shoes
The shoes are treated with a balm containing beeswax. The shoes are made of genuine leather. You can treat them with various shoe care products. The balm softens the leather soft and waterproofs it. Moreover, it makes the leather darker. If you do not have the balm, you can also use oil for leather or a normal shoe polish. The shoe polish can easily tone the leather colour and cover minor imperfections (e.g. scuffed shoe tips).
