The Shasqua was first known as a Cossack weapon used on horseback and then became the official officer’s sword of the Soviet Union. The Russian Shasqua features an unsharpened carbon steel blade, carved hardwood grip, and brass guard and pommel. The Pommel features the star, sickle and hammer of the Soviet Union. Includes a wood scabbard with black leather wrap and brass accents.
