Scottish kilt (without belt and bag)

• Material: wool (100% wool), tartan (55% PES + 45% vlna 290 g/m2), linen (70% linen + 30% cotton), duvetyn (100% cotton)

How to put on the kilt

The fabric must first be folded. At both ends, about one cubit long must remain unfolded. Then the belt must be slid under the fabric. It goes with the belt tongue forward only from one side, otherwise the belt tongue gets stuck in every fold. The belt should remain about 10cm (4 inches) below the top edge, approximately in the middle under the folded part, which then covers your backside. Then lie down on the fabric so that you have the belt at about the waist line. Now pull the right part over you, then the left and finally tighten the belt. Now you can get up and slightly move the kilt to its ideal position. The unfolded parts of the fabric can be rolled up and inserted behind the belt at the back. You can also tie the ends of the rolls like a sash over the body at an angle and stitch them together with a fibula on your chest.
