Handmade Leather Journal Notebook Harry Potter - Goldilocks and the Phoenix

  • Dimensions approx. 20 * 15.5 * 5 mm
  • Weight approx. 521 g
  • The leather journal contains 200 pages (100 sheets) of paper as per photos.

Front side:

Look at the main feature of the front cover - an illustration of Goldilocks (Golden Snitch)! This small, golden, winged ball used in Quidditch is depicted here with its wings spread gracefully upwards and a stylised tail pointing downwards. You'll also recognise the goldfinch's streamlined body and head with its distinctive beak. Underneath Goldilocks you will find the words "Harry Potter" in large, slightly stylised letters that perfectly match the overall design. The edges of the covers are decorated with an embossed pattern reminiscent of intertwined lines or Celtic knots, giving the journal notebook an ancient and mysterious look. The entire cover is in brown, with darker and lighter shades that emphasise the embossing. There is a metal swivel arm fastener on the right-hand side, which you can use to close the diary notebook securely.

Spine:

Note the seams of the hand-tied strong cord on the spine - proof of honest craftsmanship!

Back of the cover:

On the back, you will find an embossed phoenix motif in the centre with outstretched wings and a distinctive tail. Below this, the inscription "PHOENIX" (phoenix) is written in large block letters, referring to the Order of the Phoenix, Albus Dumbledore's secret organisation that fights Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

Symbolism:

This notebook is not only beautiful, but also full of symbolism from the Harry Potter books and films!

  • Goldilocks - Do you remember how Harry almost swallowed her in the first book? And what an important role she played in the last instalment? Dumbledore left it to Harry with the cryptic inscription "I'll open at the end". Hidden inside was the ring, one of the destroyed Horcruxes, which helped Harry through his most difficult moments. The chrysalis has a touch memory, which makes it a unique object.
  • The phoenix, the symbol of rebirth and hope. Just as the phoenix rises from the ashes, Harry had to be "reborn" after his encounter with Voldemort. Also remember how the phoenix saved Harry's life in the second volume!

These two symbols, Goldilocks and the phoenix, are of great importance in the magical world of Harry Potter.
