- This authentic Alemannic belt fitting is inspired by original artifacts unearthed in the historic Niederstotzingen burial site in Germany. Worn by Germanic and Merovingian warriors around the 6th century AD, this particular piece was discovered in a male grave (Grave 9).
- Perfect for belts up to 2 cm wide, this 6 x 2 cm fitting offers a tangible connection to the past. The opulent Niederstotzingen graves yielded a treasure trove of weaponry and adornments, including swords, seaxes, shields, lances, and intricate silver horse reins.
