"The Peasant Daughter" Late Medieval Kirtle, 100% Linen, Short Sleeves, 14th-15th Century Dress
The dress in blue reaches to the floor. It has no waist seam, giving it an elegant, flowing silhouette. The front is laced, allowing the dress to be adjusted to the figure. The short sleeves look casual and practical. The neckline and lacing area are reinforced with linen to prevent stretching. The dress has set-in sleeves and gores in the skirt at the sides (so-called geren) to allow freedom of movement. The eyelets for the lacing are handmade, the other visible seams (stitching and hems) are machine-sewn, as are all construction seams.

This dress is incredibly versatile!

- Layering: the dress can serve as a base layer under an outer garment (such as a more magnificent coat). You can also wear it over a dress with long sleeves to create an interesting contrast.

- Festive use: Attach sleeves. Add a beautiful outer garment and a headdress and attend a court festival.
Care of the dress:
You can machine wash the dress at 40°C (ideally with similarly coloured clothing). Iron it at a medium temperature. Avoid bleaching and tumble drying.
