This beautifully crafted corset is made of strong, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather (grain leather, approx. 3 mm). The upper and lower edges are additionally bordered with a thin leather. Metal plates are riveted onto the front piece, giving the corset an armour-like character. The leather surface is polished and given a colour finish, which gives the leather its characteristic used look. More information...

The leather corset is made from individual pieces of leather with handcrafted decorative seams. The centre back is laced with a leather strap. The lacings make it possible to adjust the corset individually.
The holes for the lacing are reinforced with metal eyelets, making them durable.
The corset is particularly suitable for giving the often baggy medieval clothing a more figure-hugging fit and emphasising the feminine body. Whether for the shieldmaiden, cosplay or steampunk, leather bodices are versatile and even in today's fashion they are a recurring theme.
