Medieval Bodice Kenna, brown

This versatile lace-up bodice is made from a cotton fabric and has a light lining. It can be laced close to the body or worn a little looser as desired. Colour-contrasting details and an elaborate cut make this corsage something special. The lacing at the centre back can be opened completely. The ends of the lacing ribbon are finished with netting so that the ribbons can be easily threaded back in. More information...

Medieval Bodice Kenna, brown

Bodices appeared in the late Middle Ages and are still firmly anchored in traditional costume fashion today. They give the upper body the desired shape and are worn both under and over clothing. In contrast to corsets, bodices or corsages are less stiff and more comfortable to wear.

If the corset is combined with a blouse, skirt and matching accessories, the result is a harmonious costume for a maid. Combining the corset with trousers creates more expressive characters such as a shildmaid, a ranger or a pirate.
