This beautifully crafted corsage is made from firm, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather (grain leather, approx. 3 mm). The upper and lower edges are additionally edged with thin leather. Under Bust Leather Corsage, brown
The leather corsage is made up of individual pieces with hand-finished decorative stitching. The centre back is laced with a leather strap. The laces make it possible to customise the corsage.
The holes in the lacing are reinforced with metal eyelets and are therefore durable.
The corsage is particularly suitable for giving the often wide dresses of the Middle Ages a close fit and emphasising the advantages of the female body. Whether for the maid, the pirate or the steampunk look, leather bodices are versatile and a recurring theme even in today's fashion.
