Viking shoes type Jorvik, brown
Jorvik shoes, or Yor shoes k as they are sometimes called, are based on originals found on Coppergate Hill in York, dating from the 10th to 11th centuries. Closure with two strap tabs with end closure on a leather button on adjustable straps to adapt to the ankle size of the wearer. The shoes are equipped with a thick sole, partly machine-sewn and partly hand-sewn using a technique that imitates historical processing. Despite the relatively primitive workmanship, they can be worn well and comfortably. You can have an anti-slip layer stuck to the sole in your local authority, which is not more periodic is correct, but may be required for some events (e.g. SCA). More information...

The leather of these shoes is tanned using ecological, naturally degradable means. The skin retains its natural texture after processing.
Jorvik shoes are very general in style and go with several historical reconstructions, especially those in the early Middle Ages.
The manufacturer mainly produces these shoes for the US market, so the table above shows the EU size equivalent. Shoes are worn on vacation, you will make no mistake buying one size larger than your standard size.
