This sword has a sharpened, darkened 1075 high carbon steel blade with an extra-wide tang. Includes a steel scabbard.
Designed for speed, the curved blade is suitable for slashing, but is thick enough to accommodate a thrusting attack. Like the originals, the spine of the blade is etched with the Mfture Impale du Klingenthal Octobre 1813 (the first two words are abbreviations for “Manufacture Imperial”), The basket guard, pommel and spine of crafted of solid brass like the original. Fully sharpened from the factory.
