RED DOT SIGHT INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: BE SURE THAT THE FIREARM IS NOT LOADED. PRACTICE SAFE FIREARM HANDLING PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES.

MOUNTING YOUR RED DOT SIGHT

The red dot sight is for mounting on a standard 3/8" dovetail base. As there is no set eye relief for red dot, allow a minimum of three inches of space between the eyebell and shooter's eye when in the shooting position.

Loose locking nuts "D", and mounting brackets ''C"’, place it on the dovetail base of the gun or rifle that you want to install, tighten up bolts and locking nuts.

NOTE: FOR ADDITIONAL SECURITY, ADD A DROP OF THREAD-LOCKING COMPOUND TO THE CENTER OF EACH LOCKING NUT.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Red dot sights are powered by 3V coin style lithium batteries, type 2023. To install batteries, pop open the battery bover cap ''F"’ slide out the batteries and insert the new batteries positive (+) side up, cover back the battery cap.

NOTE: DOT NOT TURN THE BATTERY COVER CAP, IT'S NOT AN ADJUSTMENT KNOB.

ZEROING

With the scope mounted, rest the gun on a solid support, turn on switch "E", sight along the barrel and aim at a target 50 to 100 yards away. Sight through your red dot sight and use the windage adjustment “G” and elevation adjustment "A" to align the lighted reticle with the target as seen along the barrel.

CAUTION: DIRECT VIEWING OF THE SUN CAN CAUSE PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO VIEW THE SUN WITH EITHER THIS PRODUCT OR THE NAKED EYE.
