You will appreciate this steel pan for its quality and excellent properties when cooking over an open fire or on the barbecue, and not just when camping. The pan has a hollow, folding handle that cools well outdoors and doesn't mind if the handle occasionally licks the flame. This makes the pan easy to transport in your luggage and economical to store at home. The quality steel can withstand high temperatures and the more often you use the pan, the better its frying performance. Thanks to the material used (carbon steel), you can scrub these pans with a pot scraper without damaging it.

Wash the pan by hand in warm water with a minimum of washing-up liquid. The pan is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. After washing, dry the pan with a paper towel, treat with cooking oil and store in a dry place. Before using the pan for the first time, it should first be baked to give it a natural non-stick coating. Coat the pan with a thin layer of cooking oil and place it directly in the fire. Leave it there until the oil starts to smoke.

Before packing, the pan was treated against corrosion with a thin layer of coconut oil. Before first use, wipe off this grease with e.g. paper towels.
