Steel Cuirass with divided Breast and Back Plate

The front and back plate of this cuirass is divided into two parts. Both parts are loosely connected to each other on the inside by short leather straps. This construction gives the warrior greater freedom of movement than if the plate were in one piece. You can even bend over and lean back in this type of armour. The upper breastplate is worn over the lower belly plate. A total of 3 pairs of leather straps with strong steel buckles are passed over the shoulders and down the sides at stomach level to securely fasten the armour to the body. The inside of the cuirass is sprayed with black anti-corrosion paint. More information...

Steel Cuirass with divided Breast and Back Plate
The cuirass is made of 1.2 mm thick mild steel. It is available in three sizes. The size chart can be found among the photos. Please measure including the clothing you will be wearing under the cuirass. The size can be adjusted thanks to the leather straps and steel buckles so that the cuirass fits well on the body. The cuirass is available in two versions: with a polished and blackened finish. Both the front and back plates of this Four-Plate Steel Cuirass are articulated on internal leather straps for a better mobility of its wearer. The carefully designed internal assembly allows surprisingly good torso mobility when bending forward and back. This cuirass covers the torso while remaining lightweight.
