Instructions for riveting the fittings to the belt:

Carve out holes in the belt that correspond to the holes in the brass decoration. Place the male and female parts of the rivet together in each of the holes and hammer them together with a few light hammer blows. To prevent any damage to your belt decoration during the riveting, it is advisable to choose a firm work surface (anvil, wood block...) then place a piece of tough, thick leather over it and hammer over that so the brass will never be in direct contact with your anvil/wood.
