This chainmail coif/hood is the classic chainmail hood popular in LARP, reenactment medieval events. It would be the perfect protection under your favourite kettle hat or even worn on its own as your main head protection for your favourite character.
The 16-gauge (1.6 mm thick) spring steel RINGS (9 mm diameter each) are stronger than regular mild-steel rings ensuring that your coif will be long-lasting equipment, battle after battle. With a circumference of approx. 50-55 cm, this coif comes in a size that fits most.
