This Renaissance belt bag has a flap that ends about halfway down the bag. It fastens with a strap and a grooved brass buckle. Around the riveted end of the fleur-de-lis-shaped strap is an embossed texture on the front flap. The embossing on the leather gives the impression that it has been studded with nails.
