Splinted Leather Leg Armour with Steel Knee Cops, 14th-15th century
This leg armor is exquisitely designed and handcrafted by skilled artisans using 4mm thick cowhide leather and approximately 1.5mm thick (16 gauge) steel.
- The leg armour consists of splinted cuises + greaves and knee cops made of steel
- This leg armour is easy to buckle to the legs (in a padded legs) using 6 pairs of leather straps with brass buckles.
- Available in one size fits most
- The metal parts are matt polished
- Total length approx. 106 cm
Please note: The steel parts of this leg armour are carefully coated with a layer of oil before packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
