Hand Forged Dutch Stirrups, 16th Century

These aren't just any ordinary stirrups. This is the honest work of blacksmiths from 1500 to 1550! You can touch history because these stirrups are replicas of the originals found at Gagelbosch Castle in the Netherlands. Notice the detailed ornamentation with the engravings. A similar example is on display at the Imperial Castle in Nuremberg.
