The Cinquedea is a late medieval and Renaissance short sword (or long dagger) with an extraordinary broad blade. It was developed in northern Italy and mainly used by (surely rich) civilians. The name means Five fingers and most probably refers to the width of the blade which is about one hand (= five fingers) wide.
The sword will be delivered with a leather covered wooden scabbard with brass fittings.
