Medieval ankle boots with three buckles
These medieval boots are fastened with three leather straps finished with brass buckles. One strap encircles the ankle, and two straps fasten the slit over the foot bridge. The boots are made of two thicknesses of genuine buffalo leather. The weaker and more flexible material is used for the upper part of the boot. The sole is made of a thicker and stiffer material. The heel is made up of one additional glued layer of thick leather. These shoes are ideal for historical reeactment of the 14th and 15th century. More information...

These medieval shoes are partially handmade from sol idem yet supple buffalo leather. The individual parts of the leather are firmly sewn together. They are attached to three solid brass buckles with leather straps over the crook of the foot above the ankle in three directions. The reinforced leather soles are nailed with small shoemaker's nails.
