A tabard is a type of short coat that was commonly worn by men during the late Middle Ages and early modern period in Europe. Generally worn outdoors, the coat was either sleeveless or had short sleeves or shoulder pieces. In its more developed form it was open at the sides, and it could be worn with or without a belt. Tabards were a typical part of knight garment and had sometimes coat of arms applied on the front. This kind of tabard was usual from the late 11th to mid-14th centuries. More information...

Simple medieval tabard
- The tabard is made of comfortable light cotton and is pleasant to wear in warm weather.
- Made of 100% cotton.
- Only the depicted tabard is included. No other accessories demo in the pictures are not included.
One size fits most:
- Total length approx. 120cm
- Chest girth max approx. 132cm
- Waist girth max approx. 134cm
- Neck girth max. approx. 45cm
- Length of the armpits approx. 31cm (not circumference)
- Length of the side slits on the skirt approx. 42cm long
- Width of the skirt approx. 70cm per skirt section
Washing recommendation: Turn inside out and hand wash separately in cold water (or max. 30°C) with very little mild detergent. Air dry, do not machine-dry.
