These quilted medieval mittens are made of high quality, solid fabric. Their foam padding extends over the metacarpal / mid-hand area. Authentic linen and cotton fabric provides a good hand protection while maintaining the fighter's ability to grab and hold a weapon. Foam fillings provide shock absorption and impact distribution over a larger area. The quilted mittens can be worn as inner hand protection in mitten gauntlets. They are designed for active contact sword fights (including SCA and BotN). You protect your body with armor - protect your hands just as well!
