Viking Varangian Russian Slavic helmet Gnezdovo 10th century made of 1.6 mm

This helmet is handmade from 1.6 mm mild steel. It has an adjustable leather lining on the inside. The helmet comes with a chain mail harness / aventail that extends to the chest (it measures approximately 28 cm from the tip of the nasal). Your head may fit into the helmet with a coif with a total head circumference of up to approx. 68 cm. Thanks to the adjustable inner lining, this helmet should fit a head size of approx. 58-62 cm. The helmet also has a fixed chin strap with a brass buckle.

Note: This product has been carefully oiled with a layer of preservative oil before packaging, which serves as a temporary protective layer against corrosion (rust). This protection can be easily removed with any oil remover, an absorbent cloth or paper towels.
