Three Bar Lobster Tailed Pot Helmet, English Civil War
The Three bar lobster tailed pot helmet (Pappenheim helmet) is handmade from 1.2 mm thick mild steel. The inside is painted black to protect it from corrosion. The genuine buffalo leather liner ensures comfort and shock absorption. The face protection is reinforced by three protective bars extending from the visor and two cheek plates connected by a strap under the chin. Thanks to the inner circumference of the helmet skull of approx. 68 cm, the helmet fits almost all head sizes.
