Cuisses and Poleyns Merek

This pair of Cuisses and Poleyns Merek (Upper Leg & Knee Armour) consists of iron plates with a thickness of approx. 1.2 mm, which are connected to each other by loosely hammered rivets and thus form the connecting pins of the individual segments and lamellae. The two main plates (knee and thigh) are supplemented by 4 plates above and below the knee. The whole set is easy to move so that the plates follow the movements of the legs and do not restrict you when walking, running etc. The back of the plates is sprayed with black paint to protect against corrosion.
