Hand-Forged Fibula (Cloak Clasp) with Rolled Ends
How is the clasp (fibula) used? Pierce the fabric where you want the clasp to hold the coat. Then insert the needle between the ends of the ring and turn the ring 90 degrees under the needle. As soon as you let the ring out of your hand, the fabric will immediately press the needle against the ring and the fibula is be positioned correctly.
