Teutonic Knight’s Surcoat
This Teutonic Tabard is made from roughly woven cotton tabard to give it an authentic, historic appearance. The tabard is made from two layers of fabric - the outer layer is a looser weave to give the appearance of a handcrafted woven textile, the inner layer is a tighter weave to act as a strong backing to strengthen the tabard. Teutonic Knight’s Surcoat
This historical tabard is hand-sewn from a robust cotton fabric. The so-called sword cross is sewn onto the tabard in black colour. This is the cross of St James, which has a sharp point on the lower limb, as if it were being staking into the ground. The tabard has two slits at the bottom so as not to restrict the wearer's freedom of movement. It is available in two sizes, see the description below.
Size | Length from shoulder seam | Chest circumference |
L/XL | 119 cm | 150 cm |
2XL/3XL | 123 cm | 160 cm |
