The closing mechanism works like this

A leather loop is sewn to the bag main compartment. When the flap is closed, the loop is pushed through the square opening in the flap and the strap with metal end is pulled through. The metal fitting (strap end) prevents the belt from spontaneously pulling out of the loop. The bag is so closed securely. If you want to open the bag, simply pull the locking strap out of the loop and pull the flap by its edge up. The loop on the bag is loosened and the bag is opened this way.

Please note: This bag is individually hand-made from genuine cowhide. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences of the colour tone and grain are its natural features. These small deviations do not decrease the quality or value of the product. Each exemplar is to some extent one of a kind.
