Weapon replicas from the Vikings Series

The Vikings series is not a strictly historical work. It tries to capture the spirit of the time. The overall atmosphere in the form of architecture, objects of the time, weapons and armour is sufficiently concise, imaginative and real. The work captures the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, the legendary Viking leader and hero of Nordic poetry and saga, who lived in Denmark in the 9th century. Thanks to this series, we remind ourselves that we speak of Viking swords as cold weapons from the 8th - 11th centuries, which evolved from the Roman spath at the time of the migration of nations. The shapes of the heads and shields serve for the typological classification of Viking swords.
