Tabards

Tabbard is a medieval men's clothing that spread in the 12th century. Tabbard is also a combat skirt. It was probably created by the Crusaders, who put on white shirts because of the hot rays of the Palestinian sun. Originally, the tabbard was just a strip of fabric with a hole in the head, it was gradually sewn on the sides, and finally a beautiful historical dress emerged from a strip of fabric. Tabbards were sewed from expensive fabrics and used to embroider family emblems, i.e. coats of arms.
