Half Armour

Plate armour was the pinnacle in the personal protection field in the Middle Ages. It provided very good protection against cutting as well as firearms. It was made from overlapping plates and had several different parts. The disadvantage was the relatively high weight and a certain clumsiness. Therefore, the so-called half-armour became more popular.
